About
About PedalGearGuide
Practical bike and e-bike buying advice for commuters, parents, and casual riders — not a competitive-cyclist site.
Who We Are
PedalGearGuide is operated by Ciren Technologies LLC and written by our editorial team. We built the site because most cycling content online is written for enthusiasts chasing carbon frames and Strava segments — not for the much larger group of people asking simpler questions: should I get an e-bike for my commute, what size bike does my kid need, and which lock is actually going to stop someone from stealing my bike.
Our target reader is a budget-to-mid-market bike buyer: a commuter weighing an e-bike against driving, a parent buying a first bike for a kid, or a casual rider upgrading a piece of gear. If that’s you, the site is built for you.
What We Build
- Buying guides for e-bikes, folding bikes, kids’ bikes, locks, racks, and cold-weather gear
- Selector tools that turn your commute distance, budget, and terrain into a recommended bike class or size
- Comparison pages for the decisions that actually confuse people — e-bike vs. regular bike, drive types, e-bike classes
- Checklists for getting a new e-bike, a daily commute, or a longer ride set up correctly
How We Make Money
PedalGearGuide is supported by affiliate commissions, primarily through the Awin network. When you click a product link and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. This is what keeps the guides, tools, and comparison pages free to use.
Affiliate relationships do not determine what we recommend. Full details are on our Affiliate Disclosure and Editorial Policy pages.
