Product Details

The Q-BOAT is a first "real" pedal bike with training wheels for confidence, a low-maintenance belt-drive system, and both a front caliper brake and rear coaster brake. Steel frame and fork, sized for riders 100–135cm tall (ages 4–8).

FAQ

Does the Q-BOAT come with training wheels included?

Yes, training wheels are included for building confidence before your child rides on two wheels alone.

Why does it have both a caliper brake and a coaster brake?

A coaster brake (pedal backward to stop) is easier for young kids whose hand strength and coordination for a hand brake are still developing, while the front caliper brake adds real stopping power once they're ready to use it — see the brakes section of our kids' bikes by age guide for more on when kids typically transition to hand brakes.
